The Ministry of Health will coordinate the medical evacuation of Okhmatdyt patients for treatment abroad
The Ministry of Health will organize the medical evacuation of patients of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital who have been affected by another russian terrorist attack.
After the attack on the hospital, 94 patients were immediately transported from the hospital to other medical facilities in Kyiv, where they are receiving the necessary medical care. At the same time, 465 children who needed routine treatment were examined and temporarily discharged home. Doctors are in touch with their parents. There are 68 patients still being treated in the buildings of Okhmatdyt that have been left standing.
The MOH receives many offers from different countries and international organizations to send children for medical treatment abroad free of charge. To ensure that the process is efficient and smooth, the Ministry will coordinate it.
We ask the parents of young patients of the Okhmatdyt to consult with their doctors about the feasibility and necessity of sending their children for treatment abroad. If medical evacuation is appropriate, please fill out the form on the MOH official website.
We would also like to thank our international partners, friends, and all those who care in such a difficult time. If you would like to join the process of medical evacuation of the victims of the missile attack on the Okhmatdyt hospital, please contact the official e-mail address of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine: [email protected].
We can only stand up to evil and russian terror with unity!
