Ukraine receives 80 portable X-ray machines from the Korean government

Ukraine has received 80 portable X-ray machines provided as part of a donation of more than $2 million from the Korean government with the cooperation of the Korean Embassy in Ukraine and the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

This is a modern medical equipment that allows for X-ray diagnostics without being tied to a specific location. The device allows to quickly and effectively diagnose traumas, fractures, shrapnel injuries and other damages. It also enables doctors to quickly obtain high-quality images of internal organs and structures to determine the necessary medical interventions.

Cooperation with international partners helps to quickly strengthen Ukraine’s medical sector. In particular, the portable X-ray machines received from the Korean government will help to significantly improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment in the regions affected by the war. Due to their compact size, the devices are suitable for both stationary and mobile use.

The equipment was distributed to meet the needs of the medical sector in Donetsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Chernihiv oblasts.

It should be recalled that Ukraine received 100 ambulances from the Korean government as part of the humanitarian aid provided earlier to support the healthcare sector.
