Rivne Regional Veterans Hospital and Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital (Norway)

In July 2025, the Rivne Regional Veterans Hospital and Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital (Norway) signed a memorandum of international medical partnership.

Sunnaas is Norway’s leading rehabilitation facility, specializing in comprehensive recovery for patients with severe injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic illnesses. The partnership with this hospital opens new opportunities for advancing modern rehabilitation care in Ukraine.

The cooperation includes:

• professional exchange between Ukrainian and Norwegian specialists;
• implementation of evidence-based protocols and leading international practices;
• internships for Ukrainian medical professionals at Sunnaas;
• joint scientific and educational activities;
• modernization of technical infrastructure and digital transformation of the healthcare facility.
