President of the World Federation of Medical Education highly appreciated the Strategy for the Development of Medical Education in Ukraine
Professor David Gordon, the president of the World Federation of Medical Education, that coordinates the development of medical education around the world, was with a working visit in Ukraine during January 22-23.
During the working meetings, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the professor discussed the current challenges of the changes in medical education in Ukraine and the experience of changes in medical education in other countries.
Professor Gordon highly appreciated the Strategy for the Development of Medical Education in Ukraine, developed by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in order to improve the quality of medical care through a systematic approach and the use of international practices in the training of health professionals: "Unlike many other countries , Ukraine has developed a document containing clear answers to what needs to be done for the development of education and for what, with a strong analytical basis. "
