Memorandum on International Medical Partnership Signed between University Hospital Brno and the Regional Medical Center for Family Health
In May 2025, a Memorandum on international medical partnership was officially signed between the Regional Medical Center for Family Health (RMCFH) of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council and University Hospital Brno (Czech Republic) — one of the leading medical institutions in the European Union.
The partnership aims to strengthen horizontal cooperation between medical institutions through the exchange of expertise, the implementation of European treatment standards, joint research activities, professional training, and educational programs for healthcare professionals. One of the key areas of cooperation has already been the clinical training of Ukrainian doctors in the departments of oncohematology and pediatrics at University Hospital Brno, enabling them to gain advanced experience in the treatment of pediatric oncological diseases.
The first visit of RMCFH physicians to Brno took place in September 2023, followed by a second visit in March 2025. During these observerships, specialists had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern clinical protocols, bone marrow transplantation techniques, and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.
In the future, the parties plan to expand cooperation to additional areas, including child and adolescent psychiatry, mental health, and joint innovative treatment programs.
