Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko awarded commendations to volunteer organizations and charitable foundations

The Minister of Health of Ukraine met with public, volunteer organizations and charitable foundations that have been providing active assistance to the medical system of Ukraine since the first day of the war. 

These are representatives of more than 20 major public and volunteer organizations, with which the Ministry of Health actively cooperates to meet the needs of wartime. Among them charitable organizations “100% LIFE”, National Humanitarian Aid Agency “HEALTHY”, charitable foundations “Patients of Ukraine”, “Tabletochki”, international foundation “Renaissance”, “Wings of Hope”, “Pledge”, public organization “Initiative E+”, “KOLO”, “Ronald McDonald House Foundation in Ukraine”, charitable foundation “Breathe”, charitable organization “TBPeopleUkraine”, charitable organization “Light of Hope”, charitable foundation “Christian Medical Association”, CEO Club and HelpUkraine Center, charitable foundation “Soborna Ukraine”, Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, charitable foundation “Volunteering and Help Center”, Ternopil National Medical University, charitable foundation “International Association of Support of Ukraine”/CF IASU, charitable foundations RAZOM for Ukraine, UA Brokers Without Borders, “Women's Health and Family Planning”, “SMART MEDICAL AID UA”, “Spivdiia”, charitable organization “International Charitable Foundation “Everyone Can”. 

During the meeting, Viktor Liashko talked with representatives of civil society, thanked them for their titanic work, outlined the main issues that currently exist in the healthcare system of Ukraine, and listened to suggestions and advice on joint solution of these issues.

“To collect the needs, organize everything logistically correctly and bring the drug exactly to the institution that needs it – each of us understands what kind of work and responsibility is behind this,” says the minister of health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko. “But how touching it is to hear words of gratitude from medical workers, messages from institutions in the temporarily occupied territories that they have not been forgotten. Thanks to you, we must survive and win, so we need to coordinate further actions, because each of us understands why and what for we are doing this.”

At the end of the meeting, Viktor Liashko, thanking for his comprehensive assistance, awarded public and volunteer organizations and foundations with commendations for their courage, civil position and invaluable contribution to the future victory of Ukraine.
