Date of signing: June 2, 2025

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Edem Adamanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Tasos Chatzivasileiou.

Key areas of cooperation include the development of collaboration in the field of healthcare, particularly in disease prevention, modernization of health systems, and support for the restoration of medical infrastructure damaged by the war. One of the focus areas is the implementation of projects for building rehabilitation centers and expanding access to medical services, including for Ukrainian citizens temporarily residing in Greece.

Special attention is devoted to the professional development of healthcare workers and the exchange of experience in areas such as digitalization, telemedicine, emergency preparedness, rehabilitation, mental health, oncology, and the prevention and control of communicable and noncommunicable diseases. The memorandum also outlines cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, including knowledge-sharing on clinical trials, drug registration, and quality control. The partnership will involve joint projects, training programs, expert exchanges, visits, and participation in events.
