Kaunas Clinics of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences — Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named after I. I. Mechnikov

In 2025, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital named after I. I. Mechnikov and Kaunas Clinics of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Kauno klinikos) signed a Memorandum of International Medical Partnership.

The document aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two medical institutions, promote the exchange of experience and best practices in healthcare management, and enhance the quality of medical services.

The cooperation covers the following areas:

  professional interaction between Ukrainian and Lithuanian medical specialists;
• implementation of modern technologies, European standards, and clinical protocols in healthcare delivery;
• development of rehabilitation services in Ukraine based on evidence-based practices;
• joint scientific research, conferences, internships, and educational activities;
• support for the modernization of Ukrainian hospitals and the introduction of digital solutions;
• adoption of best management practices in the healthcare sector.
