Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm Region, Sweden and Kryvyi Rih City Clinical Hospital No. 2 of the Kryvyi Rih City Council
Memorandum signed during the visit of the Minister of Health of Ukraine to Stockholm in December 2023.
As part of this international partnership, specialists from Kryvyi Rih City Clinical Hospital No. 2 took part in a two-week training program at Karolinska University Hospital.
The training program included:
- Observation of clinical cases
- Assistance during head and neck reconstructive surgeries
- Study of modern anesthesia methods
Ukrainian doctors gained practical experience working within a multidisciplinary team, learned advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques for patients with hearing impairments, and became familiar with state-of-the-art equipment that meets the highest global standards. The training contributed to the enhancement of professional expertise and the development of practical skills that will be implemented in everyday clinical work in Ukraine.
The next cooperation progress report is scheduled for six months from now.
