In 2022, the Ministry of Health together with the Medical Procurement of Ukraine purchased medicines, medical devices and equipment with a total value of more than UAH 7 billion
During the year of the war, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, together with Medical Procurement of Ukraine, continues to provide hospitals with the necessary medical equipment, medicines, and other means.
“Supporting medical institutions in such a difficult time is one of our priorities. After all, due to new equipment and medicines, our doctors will be able to quickly and accurately diagnose diseases and provide medical care, which will help save the life and health of patients. That is why, despite the war, we continue to move in this direction and make sure that the delivered medicines and medical equipment are used in place as quickly as possible and save patients,” said the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko.
Thus, as part of centralized procurement, 764 items of medicines and medical devices with a total value of more than UAH 5.5 billion were purchased in 2022. It should be noted that the purchased medical equipment, drugs, and other medicines are distributed to various healthcare institutions in accordance with the existing needs of the region.
