- 2016: graduated from the two-year South Caucasus Training Program in Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Research, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Tbilisi, Georgia.
- 2016: graduated from Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov Medical University (Varna, Bulgaria) with a master’s degree in Public Health and Healthcare Management.
- 2007: graduated from Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky, specializing in Medical and Preventive Care.
Professional experience
- 2007-2009: Head of the Department of Municipal Hygiene at the Nakhimov District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Sevastopol.
- 2009-2010: municipal hygiene doctor at the Sevastopol City Sanitary and Epidemiological Station.
- 2010-2012: Head of the organizational department of the Sevastopol City Sanitary and Epidemiological Station.
- 2012: Researcher at the Laboratory of Epidemiology of Parenteral Viral Hepatitis and HIV Infection, State Institution “L.V. Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
- 2012-2017: Head of the Center for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of Program Measures to Combat HIV/AIDS at the Ukrainian Center for Socially Dangerous Diseases of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- Since 2014: a resident of the seventh cohort of the South Caucasus Program in Applied Epidemiology and Laboratory (SC-FELTP, Georgia).
- Since 2014: postgraduate student at the Laboratory of Epidemiology of Parenteral Viral Hepatitis and HIV Infection, State Institution “L. V. Gromashevsky Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
- 2017, March: Appointed Deputy Director General for Coordination of Program Activities and Strategic Development of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- 2018, May: appointed Deputy Director General of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- December 2019: appointed Acting Director of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- February 2021: appointed Deputy Director General of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- May 2021: elected Vice-Chair of the European Network of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI)
He is the National Contact Person for surveillance in Ukraine for the European Surveillance System – TESS.
He is a member of the European Tuberculosis Research Initiative (ERI - TB, Euro-WHO, Copenhagen), International AIDS Society (IAS), European Society for Dirofilariasis and Angiostrongylosis, European Respiratory Society, International Society for Disease Surveillance, European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Eurasian Coalition for Men’s Health (ECOM), Alliance for Sustainable Sanitation, European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology, American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, Global Burden of Disease Collaborative, European Biosafety Association (EBSA).
He is a member of the Scientific Board of the project “Collaborative Action against HIV/TB/HCV in the Regions of Europe” (https://www.euresist.org/care), a member of the EUPHA-IDC group - EUPHA Section on Infectious Diseases and the International Research Initiative on Infectious Diseases (ID-IRI).
He was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2015), the Certificate of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2020).
