in accordance with the decision of the commission on the allocation of funds to meet the needs of healthcare, medical procurement of ukraine has signed contracts for the purchase of 15 ambulances with a total value of uah 40,500,000 for the needs of the medical sector for funds raised through the united24 fundraising platform. these are c-type vehicles - a kind of mobile intensive care units. they are equipped with everything that is necessary: oxygen cylinders, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, artificial lung ventilation devices, etc. this equipment can be used to save a person in case of cardiogenic shock, provide assistance during childbirth, perform resuscitation, provide general anesthesia, primary surgical treatment of wounds, etc.

the cabinet of ministers of ukraine has approved a draft order of the president of ukraine to sign a grant agreement in the amount of usd 10 million to provide funding for the project “strengthening the healthcare system and saving life” (heal ukraine). of these, usd 5 million will be used to improve the processes of providing rehabilitation and mental health services. another usd 5 million will be spent on restoring the provision of medical services in hospitals affected by the war.
