russians are attacking and bombing ukrainian medical infrastructure, putting additional strain on the healthcare system. nevertheless, ukraine is continuing to restore medical facilities to ensure that the necessary medical care is available to every patient. in particular, over the 22 months of war, 847 medical facilities have been fully or partially restored in different oblasts of ukraine.
Ukraine signs grant agreements with the Global Fund worth over USD 165 million

these are three grant agreements under the program “sustainable response to hiv and tb epidemics in war and reconstruction of ukraine” with the global fund to fight aids, tuberculosis and malaria for 2024-2026. the amount of non-refundable funding under these agreements exceeds usd 165 million. they will come into force after 15 december following the results of the global fund board meeting and subsequent signing.
