11 modern angiographs delivered to Ukrainian healthcare facilities as part of a joint project between the Ministry of Health and the World Bank
Specialized hospitals in different oblasts of Ukraine have received 11 state-of-the-art angiographs for high-quality diagnostics and effective treatment of patients. These are Azurion 5 M20 and Azurion 7 B20 medical devices. The procurement and supply of medical equipment was carried out under the joint project of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank “Emergency Response to COVID-19 and Vaccination in Ukraine”.
It should be noted that in 2024, medical institutions in Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Volyn oblasts have already received such state-of-the-art devices. Thanks to the latest equipment, doctors will be able to promptly examine pathologies of blood vessels of various organs and systems, determine the places of their narrowing, blockage or dilation, the presence of internal bleeding, and other processes and diseases that cannot be detected and treated in any other way.
The equipment has now been delivered and installation is underway. After obtaining a license from the SNRIU to operate the angiographs and undergoing appropriate training, the hospital medical teams will be able to fully operate the new equipment.
Despite the conditions of a full-scale war, the Ministry of Health continues to provide hospitals with equipment and modernize them. The heads of medical institutions must ensure that all measures are taken to install and put the equipment into operation as soon as possible so that it can work for the benefit of patients.
It should be recalled that in 2024, as part of the joint project of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank “Additional Financing for the COVID-19 Emergency Response and Vaccination in Ukraine”, 12 new CT scanners were also delivered to Ukrainian healthcare facilities in different regions.
