41 medical families received preferential housing loans under the eOselia program
More than forty medical families received preferential housing loans under the eOselia (eHousing) program. This is reported by the Ministry of Economy.
In total, 507 Ukrainian families have already used the government program in less than four months: 441 – military personnel and security forces, 41 – doctors, 20 – teachers, 5 – scientists. 71% of the purchased real estate are apartments on the secondary market.
The first stage of the implementation of the eOselia program initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy started in October 2022. During this stage, doctors, military personnel, teachers, law enforcement officers, and scientists will pay less when buying housing. They are offered preferential loan terms: a loan at 3% for up to 20 years with a down payment of 20% or more.
You can apply for the program via Diia portal or via the mobile app of the same name.
To participate in the eOselia program, it is necessary to meet the following criteria:
- be a citizen of Ukraine aged 18 to 70 years;
- be solvent;
- own a property of less than 52.5 m2 (an additional 21 m2 for each subsequent family member);
- not to be under sanctions;
- do not participate in other similar government programs.
To participate in the program, it is necessary to follow four simple steps:
- apply in Diia;
- get bank responses;
- choose the housing you plan to buy;
- conclude agreements with the bank and an apartment purchase and sale agreement.
5 banks take part in the program: Oschadbank, PrivatBank, UKRGASBANK, Globus Bank, and Sky Bank. They process each application, however, while the test mode lasts, the application processing time may exceed the stated 3 days. Subsequently, when the technical revision is completed, citizens will receive offers from banks within 24 hours.
The second stage of the eOselia program implementation will begin this year. The program will be available to all Ukrainians who do not have their own housing and want to buy it on fair and affordable terms at 7% per annum.
